What a thoughtful giveaway! I love to sew & quilt, bake, & would love to learn how to crochet. My style is everything vintage, but I also love bright & cheerful colors - especially all shades of pink! Thank you for the chance at the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteOh what an awesome giveaway, love to quilt - even tho I'm horrible at it. I also love to cook/bake. I'm bright and blue is my favorite color.
ReplyDeleteHow exciting! a customizable gift!! I spend my time equally sewing and crocheting--always things for our family needs like clothing, or household items. Style, maybe modern--but not in a 70s or abstract way--more in clean lines and less clutter.
ReplyDeleteI would say Cooking/Baking is what I do most, mostly because I have to have time to do that. Though I do enjoy it. And I really like to sew simple things and knit, though nowadays my knitting is usually wool diaper covers of some sort and I don't have a ton of time for it. I enjoy traditional and modern, purples, greens or dark reds. My crafting generally centers around my kids.

ReplyDeleteSewing/Quilting/Doll Making
*Crocheting/Knitting
What a delightful giveaway!! I love to quilt, and like more of a vintage style--although I am just finishing up a modern style quilt in bright colors, and am loving it! I enjoyed reading your blog!! Thanks so much, and God Bless!
ReplyDeleteNeat that you're going to India. I considered going there for mission work, but that was just after some violence (2000), so visas weren't being approved; I went as a language student instead. Madras. Also spent 3 months in Madurai, a bit further south. (If you're worried about violence, don't be - it's never in that part of the country. Everyone there is lovely. Think like the US south.) My husband's family's from there, too. (He was born in Houston.)
ReplyDeleteBut back on topic - probably sewing/quilting at the moment, but also a lot of crocheting/knitting. My style is almost uniformly traditional, but I'm learning to appreciate very bright and modern fabrics used in traditional ways. (Still keep buying victorian-style fabrics, though.)
What a cool giveaway! I'm a quilter at heart, but also love cooking and baking and knitting and I lean toward bright bold modern colors. :)
ReplyDeleteI sew, just started quilting, love bright colors.
ReplyDeleteThis is so great! I do all of the things listed except crochet...leave that to my wonderful mother-in-law. My favorite is sewing. I'm an old fashioned girl and love all things vintage. Thanks!!!

ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea! I'm totally a knitter--I love chunky yarn!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun giveaway. My style is somewhat a mix of classic, vintage and modern. One of my favorite quilts that i kept I call Vegetable Soup. It's a turning 20 quilt with food fabrics. I used eggplant fabric for the underside because purple is my favorite color.
ReplyDeleteI also am dabbling in paper piecing which is difficult for me but I am plugging away at it.
Thanks for such a creative giveaway. I hope I win!
Such a great idea!!!! Would love t o win :). I sew for my granddaughters and I enjoy making them jumpers, pillows. aprons, and dolls. The cooking/baking would be great for us to experiment and have fun together. By the way, my granddaughter's nickname is "GOOSE". That's just crazy!!!!

Love it! I'm a classic girl who quilts, sews, knits and cross stitches in addition to homeschooling my six kiddos whom I cook for 3x a day - so I do a bit of everything - you can just clean out your junk drawer for me - tee hee!
ReplyDeleteI love to sew - clothing mostly. I also crochet and bake! I'd call my style modern. My favorite colors are hot pink, red, yellow, black, white, gray.
ReplyDeletejenicagirl at yahoo dot com

ReplyDeletethecountryblossom at hotmail dot com
I'm a crocheter, embroiderer, and quilter at heart. And I'm a traditional quilter that uses mostly Civil War prints. But these days I find myself being drawn to the Modern Side.
ReplyDeleteAaaarrrgghhhh! I want to do and have it all...LOL!
Quilting is my passion, it's my sanity keeper outlet. I guess I'm mostly modern, when I do sew a more traditional quilt the fabric and colors are always bright and modern. The other big thing around here is knitting.

ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway.
I love bright colors, and modern designs.
I love sewing and baking!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the awesome giveaway! I have an obsession with crocheting and knitting! There is NO SUCH THING as too much yarn! I just recently learned how to make t-shirt yarn and I made a funky bowl with it, it's soooo much fun!!!
ReplyDeletepiperbellaboutique@gmail.com
ok. I am a get it done crafter... i like quilting, and crocheting, embroidery and baking... but, what i most love is a finished project. I like a quilt that can be done in a day... I am a short cut kinda girl... so nothing is ever perfect... but thats okay, right?
ReplyDeletewhat fun! i'm a sewer / quilter and newbie to doll making (i have made three, all progressively more difficult, but i'm still a newbie). i think i'm more modern in my design choices, but maybe a touch more classic in my color choices.
ReplyDeleteFun!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy baking (sweets and more sweets), cross stitch, crocheting (mostly just toys these days), and sewing and quilting. Almost everything you listed! I'm still learning what I like, though I've found myself drawn to large, modern floral fabric. I'm up to try most anything at least once (and pass on the respectable attempts to friends and keep the less respectable attempts for my kids).
Aww, that's tough. I like it all but embroidery, but I guess right now my big kick is sewing. My style is a mix of modern and classic, classic pieces with modern prints, that sort of thing. Thanks for hosting this giveaway!
ReplyDeleteetsyevan(at)gmail(dot)com
Cool and creative giveaway. My passion is quilting and I love modern quilting, especially the use of bright colors. I am starting the local branch of the Modern Quilt Guild and am very excited about it. I started quilting a year ago and love love it. It fuels my creativity- I love that I get to use what I make on a daily basis and love that quilts are timeless, regardless of their colors or patterns.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great giveaway opportunity!
I like your "surprise bag" idea!
ReplyDeleteI recently starting teaching myself to sew, and I'm definitely a modern style person. I also tend to use a lot of blue. :)

I love baking and cooking because of all the senses that get involved. The smells, the sights and of course the tastes. As far as sewing and crocheting, I love being able to create something and giving it to someone and having them love it. :)

What an unique giveaway! I split my time between sewing clothes for myself and kiddos, and knitting for myself and kiddos. I also dabble in embroidery and bake with my little girl all the time. My style, hmmmm...I like color, but not neons or primary colors, and I'd have to guess my decor is a mix of classic and vintage with a bit of modern thrown in here and there. That sounds awfully eclectic :) Thanks for the giveaway. scarletteandcinnamon(at)gmail(dot)com
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun giveaway! I love the surprise element! I'm loving Waldorf toy making right now. So I'd have to say sewing/doll making. I love your dolls!
ReplyDeleteThanks!!!

ReplyDeleteI am a little Craft ADD myself it seems. At the moment I'm heavily invested in the sewing/quilting/doll making area, but have in the past been very into cross stitch....though I may have to wait on that until my kids are a little bigger. I would like to learn to embroider. I haven't really settled into a style I tend toward the brighter colors and to a certain extent Modern, but I like vintage too.
ReplyDeleteThanks for this great give-away. Your daughters are darling!

I LOVE to craft! I'll try any craft! i'm not very good at knitting and can't crochet but I love to sew, paint, doodle, make jewelry, stitch prim designs, etc. You name a craft and I probably like it. I love your idea to embellish and fill a bag. How fun!
ReplyDeleteSo that must mean that you're birthday is soon, or just happened then, right? If so happy birthday! :)
ReplyDeleteI, too, have crafting ADD! I love sewing, quilting, embroidery & cross stitch, cooking, jewelry making, mohair braiding... I would LOVE to learn how to crochet and/or knit, but I just haven't had anyone to teach me yet.
Thanks for the chance to win your awesome giveaway!
I love all of those outlets. I'm pretty new to sewing/quilting - as in I can make my way around a sewing machine, but still lots to learn. I'm pretty advanced at crocheting/knitting, decent at cross stitch (although still working on making the back pretty), and while I can cook pretty much anything, I'm a total disaster at baking! Hehe. :)
ReplyDeleteI'd probably describe myself as modern. Thanks for this giveaway!
Excellent giveaway idea! I love to knit. =) I love to bake too, but I'm trying to eat healthier these days so I'll stick to the knitting.
ReplyDeleteI love quilting. Not much into applique, traditional blocks are my favorite. I do love bright colors, tho. Still trying to find my voice. As I've only been quilting for 2 years, there's still so much I want to try!
ReplyDeleteAren't mystery prizes the best?
How fun! I love sewing, crocheting, and baking. Thank you so much!
ReplyDeleteOooo, what a fascinating giveaway! I can't wait to see what you make for the winner. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm a sewing gal at heart. It's what makes me happy! Though I always am knitting and embroidering too. I wish I could learn baking, but there's just something about and my kitchen - breads don't rise, nothing sets up correctly, the oven never seems to do the same thing twice ... it just never works out. Alas and alack! :)
My style is ... woodsy/watery. Classic, vintage, northwoods, Pacific Northwest. Bright and Sunny or wet and gloomy! :) With cute kitties thrown in. I tells ya, I'm a mix of just about everything (except paisley. Can't stand it!).
thanks for the sweet giveaway!
ReplyDeleteemail is in my profile
i'm not great with fabric arts...i'm more of a paper arts gal..
but i enjoy cooking and backing.
i use fabric in my mixed media projects, and think it'd be fun to sew and other things, but no machine (yet!)
i enjoy all styles...more vintage than modern, but like modern too..classic and clean, beachy colors and purples...
how fun a surprise in a bag!! and a bag that's a surprise

ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! I'm a 30-something mom to four girls and expecting a fifth child in November. I love to knit things that use 2 skeins of yarn or less (mostly wool or wool-ease) and am a beginning quilter and clothes-sewer. I especially love making things for my girls.
ReplyDeleteI have been teaching myself to knit!
ReplyDeleteI love to make hats in grays and blues. Of course there are pinks and purples too for the daughter. I am of the classic/modern persuasion.

ReplyDeleteI love to sew and quilt. It is always fun to see what you can create with some fabric!

ReplyDeleteI have always loved sewing but lately have been doing more crocheting and embroidering, stuff I can do by hand. I enjoy making things for babies and children more than anything else.
ReplyDeleteI love how you are personalizing your giveaway! My favorite outlets are sewing and cooking/baking. One day I hope to make quilts. I love bright colors, stripes, polka dots and floral prints. I love making clothes and doll accessories for my girls. I also love making bags! Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI love to sew, but baking is a super close second! I love a mix of modern and vintage...ahhhh
ReplyDeleteOk, here I am waiting for a bag full of knitting/crocheting goodies, in a vintage/bright colors sort of style.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun giveaway! My outlet is definitely sewing & creating, although I'd love to get better at cooking & baking. I tend to stay in the same old rut with that..lol..Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteOooh, how fun! I love that it's going to be personalized for the winner. My favorite outlets are sewing, baking and cake decorating. I am also a newbie runner, and that's pretty awesome, too.
ReplyDeleteI think of my style as being a mix of just about everything, though I am trying to get more adventurous and fun! :)
Happy giveaway day! :)
I love all of them, but right now I'm mostly focused on sewing, especially for my daughters. I'm working on making a cloth diaper stash for my little one.
ReplyDeletelimor477 at aol dot com
I'm and ADD crafter. I knit and crochet, I paper craft. My latest obsession is book modification and journal repurposing.
ReplyDeleteWhat an opportunity! i never tried to define my craft before. I do a lot of sewing and quilting but I also do a lot of handwork, embroidering on linen and wool felt and add some beading. I have crocheted all my life and love using perle coton and small hooks to make motifs. I go on knitting binges now and then and I love clean colors: true pinks, blues, reds and greens. I have an obsessive need to use ricac, piping and buttons. I love all things vintage. I was a chef in a restaurant but I rarely cook anymore because my SIL is an even better chef than I ever was despite having less training. Gasp!
ReplyDeleteSo ther you have it, I am a fellow ADHD crafter and I embrace my craziness!
What a neat giveaway!! I am a quilter, sewer, crocheter and a baker. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm a Vintage Bright Modern lover (go figure) such as amy butler, heather bailey, Sweetwater and Joel Dewberry. I'm quite the mixture and a mess!
Thanks so much!
I sew (not doll making or quilting) and I enjoy embroidery and cooking/baking. Well...I'm a horrible chef but I'm learning!
ReplyDeleteI love girly patterns. My favorite color is purple. I like birds, bunnies, flowers. BRIGHT COLORS!
I love this giveaway!!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy sewing (bags, clutches, home decor) and cooking/baking.
I also like cross stitch too.
I love modern, vintage and bright colors. I'm pretty easy going with anything, so I like to make whatever I can come up with!
rachaelroyce [at] gmail [dot] com
thanks!
I mostly sew and bake (and I also like to scrapbook and create pictures/crafts with my kids). I like every style but vintage. Does that make me weird?
ReplyDeleteHow great! A personalized bag of goodies! I am a quilter who dabbles in embroidery. I drool over modern style quilts and embroideries even though my stash is much more eclectic. (I've seen nesting doll embroideries that I just love!)
ReplyDeleteTough choice, but I'll say cooking/baking. Bright Colors style. And today is my birthday! So let's hope I win!
ReplyDeleteThis is a really cool idea. My "go to"/ always around crafts are knitting and crochet however, like. you, I do a bit of everything. Beading/embellishing and embroidery are my next favorites. My colors are quite varied depending on the project but green is my favorite. I am a fairly casual/relaxed crafter...I love freeform items.
ReplyDeleteI am a sewer :) I sew mostly kids stuff (party hats, super hero capes, embroidered onsies, etc). My current fav color combo is yellow and grey. I am more of a modern girl but have been known to go vintage every now and again. I am pretty easy to please :)
ReplyDeletei am an internet taught sewist... i've recently been attempting to quilt but i may not have the attention span to do something that requires such time. i also applique baby and children's shirts. my style is definitely modern and funky!
ReplyDeleteI would love to have something for Sewing/Quilting/Doll Making. I would like to learn to knit socks, but I do know how to make granny squares and other crochet. I love to do scrappy stuff. I am eclectic, eccentric, easy going
ReplyDeleteOh goodness! What fun!! I will have to remember this idea for the next one I am a part of!! :o)

I love sewing and dollmaking--anything that I can wear or that my little girls will love! I gravitate towards bright colors for my girls, and can't get enough of greens and dark purples for myself. I alternate between Mod and Vintage, but really love a kind of Boho style. I guess the best way to sum up what I love is--Ottobre Design!

I have an eclectic mix of style, I love clean lines, vintage, modern, bright sturated deep color....prolly doesn't help you much lol. Oh well I tried. Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteI am a girl of all crafts! I like to sew and quilt but I also like to crochet and knit. I rotate my projects and that way I am always staying busy .

I prefer classic childrens clothing to the outrageous!
ReplyDeleteFun! I am a cooker/baker who has recently gotten into sewing and quilting. So much craftiness going on at my house! Style? Not sure. I love colors, bright, pastel, faded, all kinds. I also love vintage fabrics that are more of the bright kind as opposed to dainty or Victorian looking.
ReplyDeleteNot sure if that helps, but it was a good thing for me to think about.
